Westchester Chapter

Welcome to the web page of the Westchester Chapter of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, covering Westchester County.

The Westchester Chapter convenes in White Plains on the first Saturday of every month (except July and August) to afford chapter practice committees and other special interest groups time to meet.  A business meeting and networking are followed by an educational workshop -- all free for chapter members.   The Chapter also has an Annual Education Conference in April.  The Westchester Chapter Board meets periodically as needed.  You may check the Westchester Chapter Calendar for information about these meetings, educational programs and other activities.

The Westchester Chapter has a number of committees.  Some of the committees help carry out Chapter functions (Annual Conference Committee, Education Committee,  Membership Committee, Mentorship Committee, Newsletter Committee,  Peer Consultation Committee, Student Affairs Committee, and Website Committee) or liaise with larger State Society committees which address statewide issues (Legislative Committee).  Other committees are practice committees which bring together members who are interested in particular areas of clinical social work practice (Agency Practice Committee, Child and Adolescent Practice Committee, Disaster Preparedness Committee, Family Practice Committee, Group Therapy Practice Committee and Spirituality and Therapy Committee).  If you have any questions about a committee or wish to join a committee, you may contact the committee’s chairperson listed below.  You may check the Westchester Chapter Calendar for information about committee meetings and programs.

We welcome you to attend our monthly meetings, educational programs, annual education conference and other activities. These events give you the opportunity to learn about the Society and the Westchester Chapter, to join with us and to participate actively in Westchester Chapter activities.
