Anxiety and Mood Disorders
Our unstable economy, politics, war and the threat of global warming leave underlying traces of sadness and anxiety upon the psyche and body of both therapist and patient, a feeling of “out of sorts” unconscious, difficult to articulate. Suicides/homicides occur too often when depressive symptoms and hidden rage remain the
unspoken known in families, schools, the workplace, among friends, and within couples. This conference will address the profound importance of connecting and listening to both the clinician’s own and the patient’s split off states of awareness.
