Office of Court Administration Offers Free Training in Mediation & Collaborative Family Law to LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs and Psychologists
The Office of Court Administration is offering free training in mediation and in collaborative family law for LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs and Psychologists in NYS. In return for this free training, trainees would have to agree to serve as pro-bono divorce coaches for a small number of indigent spouses in divorce actions. After this pro-bono service, they would be listed on the court panel for this ongoing program and could seek and bill spouses who wish to participate in the collaborative law project as an alternative to divorce litigation and who have means to pay for these services.
